"This has been my all-time favourite bike, though it was probably a bit too small for me. Especially when climbing, I felt I could have used a large frame instead of a medium, given my height of 177 cm. The bike was so slack that I actually had to flip the chip to the 'steep' setting just to make it climbable. Even then, if the frame had been larger, the front end wouldn't have been so prone to lifting on steep climbs. However, having a slightly smaller frame gave me extra room for quicker movement in technical sections. This bike was exactly what I wanted for bike parks; downhill and rough terrain were nothing new to it. I bought the bike second-hand, and after a few months of riding, it needed a new shock bolt. I messaged Evil directly and got an answer from their team that same day—quick, no-nonsense service—and had the bolt in my hands a few days later. Overall, my experience with the brand and their people was a nice change compared to other companies. Unfortunately, after three years of solid riding, I found a crack. However, Evil offered to replace the front triangle for 1,000 CAD. Again, no time was wasted; I placed the order, and the new part was at my door within a week. This brand is one of the few that I would consider buying again."
